I just wanted to say that invite only blogs make me sad! I understand why some people choose to do that but it makes it really hard to reconnect with people, when you dont have their email to say "hey invite me!!"

I totally agree with you. My friend in my ward actually had a separate blog asking people to leave her a comment if they wanted to be invited to her "main" blog, which was private. I thought it was such a good idea.
